The Speakability Helpline Service is:
- free on telephone number 080 8808 9572
- available Monday to Friday from 10am - 4pm (answerphone at all other times)
- operated by staff who have been trained by the Telephone Helplines Association (THA)
Speakability's Helpline and Information Service Team is able to provide a wide range of information. The team also has access to specialist advisors who will be contacted, where appropriate, to provide the necessary information.
Speakability is a member of the THA and Language Line and so is able, through an interpreter, to provide telephone information in over 100 different languages.
If you are calling Speakability for the first time, we will follow up the call with an information pack (free of charge to addresses in the UK ). We always encourage people to call back for further information.

In addition to the telephone Helpline, we produce a wide range of Fact Sheets that deal with a variety of topics. These are free to individual callers and are available at cost to service providers.
