National Clinical Guideline for Stroke now available
The Intercollegiate Stroke Working Party have now published the third edition of their guidelines for coping with and treating strokes.
The National Clinical Guideline for Stroke was prepared by the Intercollegiate Stroke Working Party, on which Speakability has representation on behalf of people with Aphasia and their carers.
These guidelines provide the reader with a full coverage of stroke care and inform health professionals what treatment should be given to stroke patients, with the aim of improving the quality of care delivered to those who have had a stroke. The recommendations have been completely revised to include the most up-to-date evidence published since the last edition in 2004.
The guidelines are now available to purchase. If you would like more information or would like to place an order, please click on the following link.
