Speakability Pays Tribute to Jacqueline Morrell
Speakability Chief Executive, Melanie Derbyshire was honoured to represent the charity at the funeral of Jacqueline Morrell on 17th July 2008.
Jacqueline was the sister of Diana Law, who founded the charity as ‘Action for Dysphasic Adults’ back in 1979. She died unexpectedly after a rare illness.
Jacqueline had been an extremely loyal supporter of Speakability for many years and Melanie and she had formed a close friendship. The service was a true celebration of her life – her passion for music, the theatre and her many personal achievements.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Jacqueline's family and friends and we are very grateful for the donations that we have received as an ‘In Memoriam’ tribute to her.
